Abstract

This paper covers significant case law developments since the Construction Law Update presented at the Section's conference on February 17, 2000. I have also selected two topics which deserve attention of construction attorneys. These topics are duties and conflicts between OSHA's controlling employer doctrine and liabilities for personal injuries during construction, and the potential emerging issue of project labor agreements on public work in Texas.

Table of Contents

  • Fraud
  • Public Contracts
  • Premises Liability
  • Insurance
  • Arbitration
  • Conflict Between Controlling Employers Under Osha And Liability Of General Contractors For Personal Injuries
  • Project Labor Agreements
